Ichiran Nakano — Restaurant in Tokyo

Ichiran gets a lot of hate recently just because they're a large chain ramen store. However, if you want a quick and definitely tasty bowl of ramen, you can't go wrong here. The number of locals who dine here also shows how popular it really is. In fact, i we had to queue for about 10 mins before we were seated.

On another note, the service in this particular branch was fantastic, having done quite a lot of shopping before dinner, one female staff noticed and actually helped to put our bags in another area while we enjoyed our dinner. Another thing, ichiran is meant to be a more solo dining experience, but since I was with my wife, the staff actually helped to open the wooden divider for us when they noticed we did not know this was possible.

I definitely recommend this place to anyone new or old to japan, ichiran is just a great place for a hot bowl of ramen any...

Good bowl of ramen for a chain restaurant. You order and pay from a ticket machine before seating yourself. For first-timers the solo seating arrangements might seem a bit odd, but I guess that's one of the things that make Ichiran unique. the staff are very nice and offer their wifi connection so i can get my ramen stamp to my ichiran ramen app. everything is clean and fast! there is a long line though from 11:45 noon to 13:30 which is lunch time so better come early to get...
