Ikinari Steak — Restaurant in Tokyo

Although it's not Wagyu beef it's freaking good! You can't beat the price! I got 350g of grass fed ribeye for about $24 USD. They even present the steak to you before it's cooked for your approval. I don't know if that's customary for Tokyo but back home even when I eat at Ruth's Chris they don't present the steak to me and it's twice the price. They serve the steak over a bed of onions and top it with crispy fried slices of garlic and butter. You also have the option of getting white rice or garlic rice ( which is fried rice, pick this). Steak is cooked to perfection and toppings and fried rice goes so perfectly together. Best $20 steak I've ever had. Easily as good as a $50 steak from Ruth's. So happy we stumbled upon this gem. Beef was well prepared and doneness was on the spot. We had the rib eye (medium rare), chuck beef (rare), and chicken. Chicken was tender, not dry and tasted good. Would come back again.
