What a magical ramen shop! I came to eat here for a solo dinner after seeing the restaurant featured in a video on the Abroad in Japan YouTube channel, and I must say it did not disappoint at all. From the moment I walked in, the service was unbelievably friendly, as the staff seemed genuinely interested in hearing what customers had to say and were constantly checking up on me and all the other guests to see how everyone was enjoying the food. It’s a family run restaurant, and that is reflected not only in the lovely service but also the great food. I had the beef broth ramen and instantly fell in love. It was easily the best ramen I had in all of my 3 weeks in Japaan. The meat was wonderfully tender, the noodles had the most perfect chew to them and the broth was so deliciously meaty and rich. It was so good, in fact, I had to stay and order a second bowl! For this one, I opted for the pork broth ramen, which in my opinion, turned out to be even better! If you are in and around the Shinjuku area, or quite frankly anywhere in Tokyo, you will not regret coming to this amazing restaurant. I can not recommend it...

This is a highly tourist-friendly joint. We saw this Ramen Shop on a YouTube video before traveling to Japan, and decided to come try it. Im glad we did, it was a great experience! There's a ticket machine when you first enter the restaurant, and one of the workers came over to help us and showed us their English menu. He spoke English well and was very friendly. The Ramen was very affordable as well, only ¥1000 for the pork ramen. Our meals came out quickly as we were the only customers in the place at the time, and it was delicious! The Pork was so tender and the egg was cooked to perfection. It was the perfect amount of Ramen to leave feeling satisfied, and not overfull. When we were done eating, the host came over and asked us about our stay in japan and what we enjoyed about it the most. It was a very pleasant conversation that made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend this place when you want to find a lowkey restaurant with amazing food...

My wife and I dined at this ramen shop yesterday. Based on my personal experience, their beef special bone ramen was one of the best I have tried in Japan. The beef was perfectly cooked, remaining soft and juicy. The soup base had an unforgettable umami taste. The noodles were great, not too hard, with the right texture, making them a perfect match with the soup. The price of the meal was excellent given the level of quality. I will certainly revisit this ramen shop the next time I am in Akebono.

Revisit this place several times, the most recent one was yesterday, again very satisfying. Their beef noodle was certainly top of a class, in my opinion and personal taste preference, I certainly think it’s a Michelin star level. Its quality is comparable to other Michelin ramen I tried in Tokyo. Their pork noodle was also very delicious, cha siu was very good and the...
