While the line outside Dai barely moved, we were the door crashers at Iso-- what a treat at 610am. Best sushi meal for me, and I have had plenty before. We had uni bowl (heavenly), tuna bowl and assorted sushi. Came with hot tea, prawn miso, and snack for beer. Just awesome. Wish I had a spare tummy. Read moreExcellent Tsukiji sushi, seems popular with locals, not a tourist trap. The lady's menu was great, my wife ate everything. I had maguro zukushi (three different kinds of tuna plus six tuna rolls) which was also very good, but something you most likely not get at home.
Be adventurous. The fish is so fresh and good that even types which you won't eat in other places are worth it.
