Fire miso was very good. Noodles were great match for the bowl, Spice level is perfect for someone who likes spicy but doesn’t want to get their day ruined, finish with rice and add some soboro from the soup and curry spice for a great meal. Staff had good music playing during our visit too. Would highly recommend to anyone out shopping near the shotengai area of koenji. They just celebrated their 11th anniversary, it’s a staple ramen shop. Note: Ticket machine has numbers on buttons corresponding to images making it easy to decipher the options if you can’t read Japanese characters.

Ramen shop located in the "Koenji Look Shopping Arcade. The menu is mainly miso ramen. I visited the restaurant after 9:00 p.m., but it was empty at that time. I ordered ginger miso ramen. The rich miso broth and thick noodles are delicious, but the taste is enhanced when the ginger and butter toppings are melted into the soup. Rice is also included free of charge, which is also delicious when eaten with the soup. If U want to try miso ramen, try it.

高円寺駅から、新高円寺駅へと向かう商店街、新高円寺通り沿いにある豚骨味噌ラーメン専門店。前回の高円寺のじゃぐら訪問…あまりに昔過ぎていつ以来なのか全然分からない。多分10年は経ってないと思うんだけど…うーん、分からない。ただ野方のじゃぐらは一昨年くらいに行ってるので、ものすごーく久しぶりってわけでもない。さてさて、今回なぜじゃぐらに唐突訪れたのかと言うと、じゃぐらの家系インスパイアが食べたかったから。ネットニュースで先月、じゃぐらが期間限定で家系提供してるのを見て、「これは行かねば！」と思っていたのであります。夜9時過ぎに訪問。終日一杯無料のライスが切れていたため、代わりに味玉を一つ付けていただけました。感謝感激！さて、店内入って右手にある食券機で選ぶは…はい、もちろん「家系」であります。スタッフさんに食券渡すときに、普通又は色々濃いめが選べます。じゃぐらの色々濃いめはかなり暴力的なもの（褒め言葉）になるだろうと思ったけど、迷わず「色々濃いめ」をコール。しばし待ち。因みに私は店内手前に一つだけあるテーブル席の先、カウンター席の並び一番手前に座りましたが、この席めちゃくちゃエアコンの風が強烈に当たるのでお気をつけください。汗ダラダラの外の酷暑からこの席に即座るのは風邪引く可能性結構高めと思います。程なくして着丼…。油の層が結構しっかりあって、更に背脂たっぷり…。いやぁ〜…これは相当ですな、やはり。そして海苔、ほうれん草、チャーシュー2枚と家系ライクな見た目（当たり前だけど）。まずスープから…。いやぁ油と脂が凄い。これは短期決戦でいかないともたれて食べられなくなるかも…。でも味に関してはさすがじゃぐら。家系の骨子の部分はちゃんと抑えられている。で、そこに良い意味でジャンクな豚骨醤油感が加わり、なんちゃって家系ではなく「じゃぐらの家系」としてしっかり立っています。卓上の細切り生姜やフライドニンニク、酢、カレーパウダー等を折々入れて食べると面白い。麺は太めでちぢれかなり強め。個人的に麺は少し足りない印象。麺大盛りにすれば良かったかな…。いや、でもそうしたら多分油＆脂地獄で大変だったと思うから、この量で良かったのかもしれん。サクッと食べ終わり、味玉を無料で付けていただいたお礼を伝え退店。店出た直後からまたこの夏の熱帯夜に襲われ、店内のエアコンガンガン直撃コース＆超絶重めな「色々濃いめ」家系食べた直後でちょっと体が悲鳴を上げる。お腹パンパンでかなり重い。じゃぐらの家系…旨かったですし、ジャンクに家系食べたい人には割に刺さると思いますが、その他の環境には要注意して訪問してくださいませ。あと家系頼む方は多分「普通」コールで良いと思います。 8月末日までの提供です！丁寧に接客をして頂き、この場を借りて感謝！

This place has one of the thickest pork bone broth soup I ever had. In fact, it’s thick and delicious to the extent that i cannot categorize it as a soup but as a gravy! In a nice way…

I like that the special noodles (you get everything from a whole egg, multiple slices of pork and cube like pieces along with 2 large pieces of seaweed sheets which melts nice into the soup.
