This is our first authentic Japanese sashimi/sushi meal in Tokyo Japan. Ordered the おすすめコース (OSUSUME) course. “This is special course that owner recommends. It’s includes Appetizers, Assorted Sashimi, Grilled Seafood, a pot-steamed hotchpotch, Assorted Sushi and Miso Soup.”. I must say, the sashimi tastes extremely fresh, especially the tuna, the best tuna I’ve eaten thus far in all my years eating sashimi. The grilled sea bass was a bit salty and am not sure if that is the way Japanese likes it or was it seasoned with salt too much. The sushi was also very fresh and tasty. The miso soup was interesting as it had some clams in it. Overall, the meal was very good and the staff was very courteous

There were a couple of hiccups. 1. Iordered the lunch set with uni but was served the lower tier combo. I ended up ordering an extra piece of uni and they served me promptly. I can understand why as there were only 2 people working in the shop and one of the guys, probably the son/owner, kept running around serving people and preparing the appetizers while the older guy only made sushi. 2. I found a hair in one of the sushi pieces, the guy immediately apologized and served me a new piece. Otherwise they were very nice people, and the sushi chef even fist bumped me as I left the shop. Fair prices, good tasting, need a front house staff badly. Thank you sir

I think the menu at this restaurant changes when it sells to foreigners. Because it costs an insane amount of sushi for two pieces. 600 yen for two pieces of mackerel is a crazy price. Shari wasn't very good. The price and taste do not match. One thing that was good about it was that the fish was fresh and not fishy. The atmosphere of the owner is not very good, and it's even worse that he has to order a drink. It's also a rule to make sure that you add it to the last payment without writing down the tax-inclusive price on the menu.
