One of a kind spot in Tokyo, it really feels you're on a resort. If you're familiar with Singapore it kinda has that Sentosa/Tanjon Beach club feel (without the beach). We really enjoyed our evening, especially the little ones. As a parent with small children, I liked: the open area space with the Rodys! If your kids are under 5/6 they will spend so much time (and energies) here. the pool is nice and warm and is reserved for kids and their parents. As an adult without kids this is likely disappointing but I was so glad to not have drunk people around my kids. the stage and the dancing at 7pm was really fun, the perfect last burst of energy before going to bed
Things to note / things I didn't like: The evening slot starts at 5, we were playing at first thinking we'd start eating at around 6, but the food was completely frozen and it took ages to cook. The grill is small so you can only do very small batches... make sure you take turns or the person on the grill wont have a good time. We gave up on the chicken legs which after an hour were still raw, and a few other things that we didn't have time/space to cook. Kids were free but the bbq packages (considering the food is frozen) were quite pricey. They didn't even check on the number of people, and we ended up having so much food wasted so I wish I had booked for less. The electrical situation is quite concerning, with lose cords and broken plug covers hanging from the walls, and water puddles everywhere.
Overall it was a good experience and I'd recommend it but just make sure you have eyes on your kids all the time, as there are so many things that could go wrong (pool, hot bbqs, electrical etc). I'm glad we didn't get the all you can drink package as the drinks queues were long and with a few drunk...
Read moreDisappointing experience. Not worth the money. For the price, you could enjoy a quality meal prepared for you elsewhere. Here, you're expected to cook your own BBQ. You're given frozen meat with only salt, pepper, and a basic sauce. No real seasoning, no marination. Even the clam chowder was a letdown — overly fishy and one of the worst I've had.
To make matters worse, you have to leave the dining area to use the restroom, get your own drinks, or find help if something’s wrong. Why am I paying full price to do all the work?
Suggestions for improvement:
Thaw the meat ahead of time.
Marinate or properly season your offerings.
Precut veggies and provide real seasoning options.
Improve customer support and convenience during the experience.
The concept and location are great, but the execution needs serious work. I had high hopes, but the food...
Read moreGreat little BBQ place close to Tokyo Bay. Places like these are meant to be places for people to gather and BBQ to make up for the lack of space that most people who live in Tokyo don’t have access to.
The per person portions included in each package are huge, so you get your money’s worth. Be ready to BBQ everything yourself. There are some instructions at the table, but generally you are on your own, which is normal at places like this. And there are activities for kids and adults alike. Day-bookings are more for families, while evening-bookings seem to be more...
