THE BBQ BEACH in TOYOSU — Restaurant in Tokyo

We had a department BBQ here with a large group. The location is a little far from the station, but the view is great if your table is located at the very end. Unfortunately it was raining heavily on the day of our reservation. There is a roof above the tables that protect from the rain, but if you need to use the restrooms or want to go to the drink bar you will definitely get wet. Somehow, the beer at the bar was not refilled frequently, so that my cup was always full of foam instead of beer. I would like to think that it was too hectic for the employees to host a large group like ours, but apart from our group, not many guests where there. Therefore it should be no excuse to not refill the beer. Specifically at our table the BBQ kept turning off and we weren't able to get it to work. We had to call the staff multiple times to fix the grill for us. Maybe we had multiple circumstances that made it difficult to truly judge this place. I think if you go just with a group of friends on a sunny day it might be a completely different experience, but for a company outing of 60+ people on a rainy day we faced some issues. The quality of the meat and food overall was very good! I didn't expect much, but we had a lot of leftovers...

Although the set up is very nice, it’s an absolute rip off. They only allow you in the moment it turns 7. So there is a huge line of people waiting to go in. Then you find your food is hardly enough to feed half the people there even though we got food for everyone and paid a lot of money just for a few small pieces of meat and rationed vegetables. Two in our group left to go shopping just so we would have more to eat missing a large part of the time there. Then they close the drink bar down 30 minutes before they close even though your reservation is for 3 hours and constantly had no ice. Then they turn on the closing music 15 minutes before the end of your reservation making you feel like you need to rush out. With as strict as they are with the opening time, I think they should give us leniency to enjoy our entire reservation time that we paid for. Also the area is pretty enclosed and gets very smoky. It’s fun to be with your friends but it’s absolutely not worth the price. If possible, I highly recommend to bring your own...

Absolutely different from the description. We wanted to spend a nice Sunday next to the beach, have bbq and enjoy the nature. Paid for a Luxury zone, which was almost the best choice available (after VIP seats, those were already booked, unfortunately) Can you imagine our surprise when we came there and found out that there is no beach, no sea can even be seen from the place! They have an artificial "sand pool" for kids to play, and huge photos of the beach on the walls. That's it. The place is very crowded, drink bar is dirty and with limited options. No explanation upon arrival - noone told us where to get the plates, or if we could use the grill or had to wait? Ah, and the reception person was not wearing a mask.

The food was also very cheap, we had two slices of meat and literally few slices of Vegetables included in a set.

Never coming again. No beach, no...
