No foreigners welcomed here????? (I can’t judge how the food was) My boyfriend and I, who have both been living in Japan for many years and are nearly fluent in Japanese arrived around 8pm and were just told “NO” by the staff despite there being multiple tables open and some with just drinks. We spoke to a nice Japanese family seated outside, who were also surprised we were turned away, as the closing time as written on Google is 10pm, and we were not given an explanation (sold out, last order time, etc) just told flat out NO. I went here for lunch. The tacos were okay. I ordered the 3 flavors tacos and guava juice (+300) and churros with vanilla ice cream (800) for lunch. They specialize in gluten free tacos. The hot sauce they serve is not spicy. I thought tabasco would be nice with the tacos. The churros was made of corn meal/corn flour so it’s very light. I thought it’s overpriced for 800yen ;. Style over substance - consistent with the neighbourhood. Nice room. All the meats are frozen in large plastic bags and portions are thawed and weighed out and warmed up on the grill. Sat at the bar to see how everything was prepared. Not really great to see, in comparison to the passion shown by other Japan restaurants who care about the quality and presentation of their food and space.
