Authentic and cozy izakaya with very fair prizes. It was full when we came in but the 30 minutes of waiting was well spent! It's a classic seafood izakaya with grilled and simmered fish, sashimi and plenty of small dishes to try. They do not have an English menu but the waiter was nice and helped us order a selection of dishes; deep fried small bate, grilled fish, mixed sashimi, agedashi tofu (deep fried tofu in broth with fried fish), steamed vegetables, rice with squid and miso soup. We loved it all; especially the super fresh and tender sashimi! Prizes are super fair, so don't be scared to try a few different things, you won't be leaving with a bad surprise in the end of your meal. As soon as we walked into our sits we saw an aquarium full of prowns that were on top of each other in an horrible shape while most of them were squeezed to death. This the least appealing thing to see at a restaurant and it completely destroyed my appetite. I understand that in some places it is common to have an aquarium, but this one was in very bad shape as most of them were dead or crushed by others at the button. Pls see pictures below.
