Not a pleasant Omakase experience, especially not for its price.
ambience was noisy, they have two sections (see other reviews), separated by a kitchen and only a thin ceiling hanging seperation cloth. All sorts of kitchen noises and chatter, so it was far from quiet and quaint, just noisy throughout
Omakase at this price point should typically have a waiter/waitress or even two standing on standby at the back, they have one dedicated but over the counter with the chef and kept darting in and out of the kitchen, it was super distractive and as above the thin separation cloth serves no purpose in cancelling out the noises, with him in and out only makes it worst.
possibly very related to the above meant we had to ask for refill of water and tea a couple of times throughout the night because there's no one attentive enough or dedicated enough to change cups with new hot tea. For this price point its just mega disappointment and a big no-no, im sorry.
I always go with little wasabi to no wasabi, that evening I decided to go for no wasabi, the chef only have to prepare for 6 pax not 20, yet has a poor memory forgetting my preference not twice but THRICE. One of the three times, he realises and took out the wasabi he had placed, by 'washing' it with more sauce. This was the point in the evening I completely tilted, I was disgusted because usually from experience they just cut and make a new one (or at least offer), He simply bushed the wasabi off, and right in front of me soaked it with more sauce indirectly to try to wash the wasabi he had placed off, the stroke and massage it again a second time this additional adjustments meant transferring more of his hand and bodily heat into the preparation. This is not correct. Rice is too hot from this fish also and too saucey. What is this!
For the other two that was served wronged with wasabi, I only knew after I had put it in my mouth Although he did apologies. I don't expect much but not even asking if he should remake one for me OR giving a gesture of a drink or a small discount at the end of the night.
I mean, getting it wrong once was okay.. twice..... but Thrice. U got to be kidding me
Chef kept talking to a Japanese couple which is good and friendly, of the 6 people that night, 2 of us and another 2 were foreigners. But he kept talking while preparing with no mask on. Imagine him preparing and food and talking in front of it
served too much prawn in one sitting i counted 3 dish. See pics one of them is fried prawn head
I got a slight tummy ache the next morning, not even kidding...
Read moreI had a reservation at this so-called “luxury” omakase spot in Tokyo, but arrived 10 minutes late because of Christmas traffic. First red flag: nobody greeted us when we walked in. Then, the chef straight-up refused to acknowledge our reservation twice and told us to leave. Another staff member dragged us back in without a single apology, but once inside, the chef decided to humiliate us further by making fun of our accents in front of the other customers. We felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed, we walked out before even tasting anything.
For an establishment charging sky-high prices, this was beyond unprofessional. Beware if you expect any level of courtesy, because we sure didn’t get it. This experience absolutely does not match the reputation—or price—of a “luxury”...

We showed up only ten minutes late due to Christmas traffic, but the chef rudely refused to even acknowledge our reservation—twice. Another staff member dragged us back in without a word of apology, only for the chef to mock our accents in front of everyone. We felt so humiliated we left before the meal started. For a supposedly “luxury” omakase restaurant, their behavior was appalling. Save your money and find a place that treats customers with respect—especially if you’re visiting from...
