Hair salon BROOKS AOYAMA — Local services in Tokyo

I tried my hardest to like my haircut + keratin treatment, but I feel super dissatisfied in the end. My stylist, who I did not get the name of, did not seem to be either Hayato or Natsumi as far as I know. Despite the website saying they communicate in proficient English, there was a large language barrier as the sylist did not attempt to speak English (whether they did not know it or just didn't attempt to use google translate is unknown to me.) The stylist did not seem to want to do the haircut I wanted for reasons unknown due to the language barrier. I tried using broken Japanese but it wasn't sufficient.

Initially I was content with the keratin treatment as I could just get another haircut elsewhere, but it didnt even last a week. I usually have my keratins last at least 3 months, but this was too short lived (they told me it would last at least a month.)

The stylist performed minimal hair styling despite cutting off 3cm of hair. I just wanted simple layers.

To top it all off the clamp brush used on me was coated in hair that wasnt mine, which im sure cannot be hygienic.

I ended up having to getting a haircut and keratin elsewhere, and it came out exactly the way I wanted. I essentially lost ¥19,000 and 3cm of hair for no reason. I've never written a negative review before but this...

I highly recommend getting your hair done here. I love the atmosphere here and the stylist. Honestly I think all the stylists here are AMAZING especially for balayage. I personally come here for Natsumi! I enjoy my consultations with her. I will bring a reference picture for a style or color I may be interested in. She will offer suggestions and give the pros and cons of the style or color. She can speak English :)!...
