La Maison du Chocolat Marunouchi — Restaurant in Tokyo

I've loved their chocolate truffles ever since my sister gave us a box back in 2006.

Unfortunately, they have no store where I live, so I can only buy them when I visit Hong Kong, Tokyo or New York.

The service in this Tokyo Marunouchi store was welcoming and friendly. The staff even thoughtfully wrapped the paper bag containing my purchases in clear plastic to protect it from the rain.

As I was visiting from a warm tropical island, I needed their cooler bag. To my pleasant surprise, the staff had surrounded my chocolates with those cold packs top, sides, and bottom. チョコレートを中心に、非常に質の高く豊かな味わいを楽しむことが出来る洋菓子店です。チョコレートの他にも、フィナンシェやマカロンなどの洋菓子が販売されていますが、売り場の多くをプラリネやトリュフの販売に占められています。既に選別されたチョコレートやスイーツを詰め合わせた箱だけでなく、チョコレート1個から購入することも可能で、好みに合わせて様々なスタイルで購入できるのもこの店の魅力の一つです。 店の奥にはサロンがあり、購入したスイーツを珈琲などと一緒に飲食することが出来ますが、店頭でスイーツを購入するのみの客がほとんどです（店内の構造上、分かりづらいかもしれません）。スタッフは一様に丁寧に接客しており、スイーツに使用されている成分（酒類の使用の有無　等）も適切に説明してくれ、好感が持てます。特別な人への贈り物等に利用するといいでしょう。入口に段差があるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方は利用に注意が必要です。

The staff were very helpful in recommending me chocolates that are suitable for me to bring on a flight. Even though I was struggling to communicate with my amateur Japanese, they were very kind, and I was able to use google translate to help with the conversation.
