Matsuya — Restaurant in Tokyo

Many fast-food restaurants have been modified their interior and table layout to, most cases, dismal, too efficient, or even mechanical settings during and after the pandemic hassles, and this place is one typically wrong or excessive case.

Once you sit on one of the completely segregated seats, all customers in all seats have almost zero chance of meeting eyes with anyone in the restaurant even with the staff or your friend coming in with you unless you deliberately try to. Having difficulty in chatting friends sitting side by side due to such a layout and plastic walls is absurd and uneasy for them and others who are overhearing strangers’ inevitable loud voices.

The staff’s service and attitude are fine, but, because of such alienated counter seating/table system, they can’t get to servicing each “eating cockpit” like refilling the source and ginger pits and cleaning. Pretty pitiful.

By the way, my gyudon was good, as always, but probably not in this...

Matsuya being one of my favourite place to happen for the first few days i was just dependent upon combini food and then my cousin told me about Matsuya which you can usually find nearby to a metro station. You just enter there will be a machine to order food select the communication in english for travellers and try the food out there its the almost same price as combini but more freshed and real time cooked and hot. 悪い意味でベトナム体験が出来るお店である。 場所が便利なので、たまに訪問するが、先ず店の掃除が行き届いていない。カウンターに座った途端に足にこぼしたライスがこびりついてしまった。 卓上のドレッシングは開けっ放し、そしてあの忌み嫌われる虫を何回か見た。 カップルで来て、食べ終わっても居座る人、スマホを見ながら食べる人、端っこに移りたくて何度も人を気にしながら席を移動する人、スマホ弄り且つキャッシュレス決済は好きだが、松屋アプリは使わず、一つしかない食券機を一人占めし、睨んで喧嘩を売る人、平気で飲み物を持ち込む外国人観光客等を見てきたが、正直、前述の通り来るお客のレベルが低い人が多く、いいかげんに振る舞って、店のインフラを汚す、治安が悪くなる結果なのだが、それを店員がカバー出来ていない事が大きい。 松屋さんの社是で店内ポスターに掲げられている店内の清潔性重視のメッセージが虚しくなる。 他の方も書いているが、この店の大半はベトナム人だが、日本語の能力が極めて低い人が多い。単純に疑問なのだが、料理人の技能資格での就労でないあの人達は日本語学校に通っている学生なのかは不明だが、正式な手続きで就労している筈と考えると疑問な点が多い。 先日、リトアニアのハンバーグ定食をご飯特盛で注文したが、取りに行った際、明らかにご飯が少なく、且つ味噌汁も付いていなかったので、指摘したところ、ベトナム人女性はただ驚いた顔をするだけで、指摘の内容が分かっていない様で、定食のイラストを見せて漸く通じた。 フィリピンやマレーシアの人と違って、大抵の場合ベトナム人はベトナム語オンリーで、英語、他の外国語は通じなく、簡単なベトナム語の単語を伝えても、声調言語の為、正しく発音しないと通じないので、一苦労である。 国際化、外国人が多く日本に来る事は個人的に歓迎だが、松屋でベ...
