McDonald's Hachioji Misakicho Store — Restaurant in Tokyo

Yep. I just had to try it. Of all the foods I had to try in Japan, it was Macca's. But hear me out. There was respect given to the burgers when staff make them here, Unlike in Australia where staff is some 14 year old kid who just slap buns together with no love and call it a day. Okay, it doesn't matter if 14 year old or 30 year old. But it just shows Japan staff are humble and loving. Anyway, order was a grand fries, grand sokenbi tea that was really nice, and a big Mac that looked as similar and as thick and well dressed as the picture, not some sad deflated burger that just wanted to die. All this for about 11.50 AUD as of this date. A meal like this would easily cost at least 17 AUD in Australia's Maccas. This is just proof that Australia food prices are overly inflated. I haven't even got to the taste. Drink, refreshing! Fries, it's basically a large. And when you order large, you get large, not half-arsed filled fries that was supposed to be a large back in Australia. And the burger, I think is better in my opinion as it wasn't overpowering with the sauce. And the sauces they used here were different taste-wise probably to suit the locals here. Overall, the ratings speak for themselves. Not saying Aus Macca's generally suck.... Well actually... yeah it does. Aus Macca's is a hit and miss. Some places are good, some places are bad, but is more of a miss, especially when they forget to give you tissue paper and straws, not to mention getting the wrong order, (last time I ordered a double fillet o fish, but was instead given a single fillet o fish). IMO, I believe Macca's in Japan in overall is more consistent than Macca's in Australia. Bonus feedback: Their care for their country is reflected in their hospitality and discipline for their environment. Everyone cleans up after themselves and disposes their rubbish ACCORDINGLY and in the CORRECT bins. Unlike Australia. But that's a rant for another day. Just my 2 cents. McDonald's is a staple fast food restaurant in both America and Japan. The Japanese exclusive food options are well worth trying, and the seasonal menu items are also delicious. However, prices have been rising recently, and the serving sizes in Japan are much smaller than in the states. 接客対応がとても酷い店舗です。 キャッシュレス決済専用セルフレジが導入されてから兎に角店員の接客能力が低下しており、お店の質が全体的に低下しています。 現金払い希望でレジ対応を待つお客がいるにもかかわらず案内もなく放置するのは当たり前の店舗ですので、キャッシュレスでなく現金を利用したい方は非推奨です。 先日利用した際、事情もあって現金対応レジを希望していたので入店後案内されるのを待っていたのですが放置。 なんなら入店時に「いらっしゃいませ」すらありません。ずっと店員同士がゲラゲラ談笑しているだけ。 それだけでも印象が悪いのに、先に入店してた客を一切無視して、後から入店した身内？なのか店員と仲の良い客にはすぐに現金対応レジを開けてキャッキャしながら案内し、笑顔で接客。そしてすぐ現金レジを閉める。 身内客の対応が終わって、やっと他の客に気付き「どうぞ」と言うものの、面倒そうにするわ笑顔も一切なければ「お待たせしました」すらもなし。 どうやらこちらの店舗のスタッフは身内しか接客するつもりはないようです。 身内客がくる前に１度こちらを見た気がするのはきっと気のせいだったのでしょう。 あまりの酷さに「もっとまわりをみた方がいい」と伝えましたが、聞く耳は持っていないと思います。 当時、レジカウンターにはざっと数えただけでも暇そうに談笑している店員が6人以上おり、厨房の店員までいれればかなりの人数がいました。10人以上は確定です。 店内にはお客は現金レジ対応が私１人、セルフに１人。 店員が談笑して客を無視しているのが嫌だったようで、私のすぐ後にきた１人は来店してすぐ店を出ていってしまいました。 オーパ店が混んでいる理由がわかりますね。 店員に接客する気があるかないかの問題です。 「キャッシュレス決済にすればいい」という話ではありません。キャッシュレスを促進したいとしても様々なお客様がいるのです。全ての声に応えるのは難しくとも、従来のやり方を疎かにしてはよりよいサービスを提供することは不可能です。 少なくとも、他の店舗のセルフレジを導入している都心の店舗でもとても親切で丁寧な定員さんにしかあったことがありません。あなたの店舗のスタッフだけです。 オーナー様はそれでいいと思っているのでしょうか。全てを完璧にしろとはいいません。ですが接客業とはそも人あってこそではないですか？ 折角のバーガーも美味しくありませんでした。 今後、改善されないのであれば潰れてしまえばいいと思っています。 あんな店舗、二度と行きたくない。 同じキャッシュレス対応がメインのバーガーキングの方が丁寧なのでそちらの方がオススメですよ。 ポテトをテイク...
