McLean OLD FASHIONED DINER — Restaurant in Tokyo

I've already been to the Burger Stand which was an amazing experience (but a bit short because they close a bit earlier than the diner) so decided to visit the Diner. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and American Cherry Pie. The cheesesteak was out of this world - it would satisfy even the pickiest carnivore - I like my steak rare, but perhaps some customers may not appreciate it like this. The fries were good but gone much too soon....🤧 The cherry pie was not bad, but a bit light on cherry flavor. I try different hamburger places every weekend in and around Tokyo. The avocado cheese burger I had today at LcLean Diner, was the #1 best tasting burger I've tried so far. The beef was not over-cooked, as happens often in Japan, its texture and flavor were excellent with just the right amount of seasoning. Even the avocado was fresh and correctly sliced and arranged to prevent it from slipping out of the bun while eating. Bravo! ...

Feels like an old fashioned American diner. The service is remarkably quick. The sandwiches are 90% American, 10% Japanese but usually in a good way, like using a bread we wouldn't use in America but is higher quality. Or adding an ingredient to the sandwich that is really good.
