Midori Sushi Echika Ikebukuro Bar 🐟🍣🐡 (worth the wait!!)😄❤🇯🇵🏮 The best sushi I've ever had, especially the tuna!!! Its Amazing prices range per piece from 100 YEN to 300 YEN per piece the lunch set is 500 YEN!!! Soo cheap for the quality.
Just a small side note the uni sushi is yum with a strong sea taste.
It seats 4 ppl at the bar and another 4 more on side tables. Its a small place and you stand eating up. There is a wait but worth it!! There is also prepackaged sushi available for takeaway at ridiculously cheap prices from 280 yen for 4 pieces of mackerel/gar fish sushi!! That $3.50 AUD !!
ALSO IT IS LOCATED UNDERGROUND AT IKEBUKURO STATION! 🚇 not above ground.

Read moreThis place was a chance find since our airbnb was close by, and we came late in the afternoon at around 3pm so the wait was only 15mins. BUT WOW this was seriously the best sushi we have had in our whole 13 day Japan trip. The sushi was so fresh and handmade in front of you moments before you eat. The prices were unbelievably cheap too, and you can custom order your sushi plate (starts from 50JPY per piece?!???!). We ate until we were full and make no mistake we came into this restaurant starved, yet we only paid 2,200JPY between TWO PEOPLE (which was $12.50AUD average for each person) for a highly affordable version of an omakaze basically. Please try this if you’re ever in Tokyo! Ikebukuro is only a few stops away on the Yamemote JR line and you can find the shop underground in Echika.
It’s unfortunate that we couldn’t give this more than 5...

Pricier but the long queues have now formed and do not abate. After 3 tries, I went at open time, still had to wait half an hour but managed to get in. I just went to town! It was worth it! My favourite was white bait and minced...
