Made a reservation for 8pm on a Sunday night and arrived to a completely empty diner, so I guess reservations on weekends aren't really necessary. The staff tried to communicate with us in English with some difficulty, which we really appreciated.
However, we were not informed that our food was to be self serviced at a counter where they announce your table number through a PA system in Japanese, so do beware for foreigners who cannot understand Japanese at all.
Food was alright, the "Ghost Beef" was very tasty and surpassed our expectations. The mapo tofu rice and spaghetti bolognese were decent, the drinks were average as well.
We were told that there would be an extra surcharge of 500 yen per pax before we seated, which we weren't sure what exactly it was for due to our poor Japanese and lack of proper translations. However, as my boyfriend had been to this diner in the past, he remembered that they provided free trinkets when you dined there which include a coaster and a little glass dish that used to be placed on your table upon arrival. Only upon payment of the bill did my boyfriend enquire about the free trinkets, to which the cashier opened a drawer and took two sets out and handed it to us. I guess this would be something to take note as well if you choose to dine here.
Overall the place was fine, the decorations were plentiful and cool to look at. Thank you...
Read moreBest place for TokuFan!! ❤️❤️ I will assure you that the feeling of Dream comes true for you will be found here.
First, most of Collab cafe is only selling Collab contents so even food look nice but taste usually so-so. But here is part of Restaurant Collaboration floor so menu was create by actual chef and my visit over 10 times never disappointed with that taste. In fact it tastes better than my imagine everytime .
Second, not only Kamen Rider (Masked Rider) but also Super Sentai (Power Ranger) now also in this cafe so you can enjoy both of them.
Atmosphere here is surely made by fan for fan. If you every known or love them when you are child here will be homecoming for you. If you still watching them, here will be your sanctuary.
Services also great, now after COVID they change to order via phone by QR instead which quiet convenience and user friendly for foreigners. You can also received small gift for campaign menu as well.
Food is fan tasting!! And price not too high, actually if more delicious than the price.
Above reason is why I frequently visit everytime I have a empty slot during work inJapan and when I travel to Tokyo.
Recommend to make the reservation before arrive since it may be crowded on evening...
Read moreThis is an incredibly cool place to dine in if you are a fan of Kamen Rider and Super Sentai specifically. The menu is so creative and if you are not feeling like having Kiva Pie, you can order the numerous drinks on menu.
Which is what I did, there was a limited Black Sun menu when I visited, and I got to drink some Heaven! It was tasty, thankfully an awesome mate of mine from Aus reminded me to get the Ketamine drink as well... Which came with a syringe!
The atmosphere is just Tokutastic. Price wise it's going to be on the more expensive side as you'd expect for the novelty of the whole experience. If you want a souvenir there's a Kamen Rider Diner Tshirt that will run you about 3,700 yen. Most drinks and food items start at about 800 yen per item.
Pictures are fine and encouraged l, so if you don't want to shell out for a tee, you can ask the staff to take a photo of you on the Dai Shocker throne after you've paid for your meal. That's free and a cool...
