Ok to start off, the food was really good! However, everything else is not. We arrived around 9pm, food arrived at around 9:30 (only the ramen at this point),5 minutes later the waitress came to inform us that it was time for the last order, minutes after she asked us to pay the bill in advance (the appetizers we ordered were served around that time). At around 9:45, that's 15 minutes after our ramen was served, the waitress came back again telling us to leave as it was closing time- we were still eating of course- then she sent another waitress 5 minutes after to say the exact same thing in Japanese-she wasn't even addressing us since the very beginning and spoke only in Cantonese to one of our friends- I asked her to wait for 5 minutes but she gave me a death stare & blatantly refused; they were towering over us at this point. We had to quickly finish our food we almost got sick.
So if you are a fast eater, can finish a huge bowl of ramen in 15mins, and don't mind being yelled at to leave, this shop is for you. Otherwise, don't go after 9pm by all means.
If you don't want people to stay till 10pm then you shouldn't mention that the store closes at 10,or at least treat your customers with a bit...

Some background; I've had a lot of Uyghur cuisine in Tokyo (like at Silk Road Tarim near Shinjuku) and those are usually quite good. However, the cost-performance here is at another level. Moreover, the cook here is a Hui Muslim and the taste is at another level.
For the main dish, I tried the Lanzhou Beef Noddles. The ratio of noodles to meat and vegetables is amazing. Similar restaurants in other countries usually cheap out on one or the other, but it was literally perfect here. I never felt like I had too little coriander or too little spicy oil or anything like that. It was the perfect package.
The.. lamb kebabs?.. were a major revelation to me. The spice mix is much better than what I use. Moreover, they were soft and perfectly made. I went with work friends and stole theirs wherever I had the chance....
Read moreNever in my time in Japan, nor in my life have I seen a waitress that yells at the customers to leave! We were a group of 4 people, they are supposed to close at 10:00, 9:45 the waitress came and said that they want to close, we hadn’t finished our food, note that they gave us the food 9:30. We said we need time to finish the food, at 9:55 she came and asked us to leave, we said can we get just 5 more minutes? She literally yelled saying no we will close. I have never in my life seen such a rude attitude!
————— Update ——————- I went there again and the service did considerably improve compared to the last time. They were much more polite and...
