Saw people lining up during morning run and noticed multiple restaurants with the same name on the same street so decided to give this place a try. Did not disappoint.

Staff was friendly and speaks english. Restaurant takes cash /credit card.

No english menu available but can easily google translate or just order recommendations from staff.

Family of 4 and we went around 2 pm for late lunch. We were asked to put our names on waiting list and to wait outside until table is ready. Waited for 5 to 10 minutes.

Once table was ready, staff called our name and explained how it works and each person had to order at least 1 drink and 1 dish. Also told us the restaurant is very hot due to the hot grills to manage expectations. Even though AC was on.. it was definitely hot inside but worth the sweat! 😊

We've had okonomiyaki before but this was our first time trying monja. We had originally ordered 4 mains (2 monjas and 2 okonomiyakis) but the staff advised it maybe too much since the monja is almost equivalent to 1.5 serving and we had 2 kids in our party so he recommended 3 mains and 1 side dish. This portion was perfect and glad the staff made the recommendations.

The best part is the staff grills everything for you.

We started with the seasonal grilled squid with squid liver. It had a great umami flavour and was not chewy at all.

The next up was the recommended monja with cheese. It had a slightly gooey texture (which is how I like it as a mochi fan). Once staff finishes cooking, you eat it with your own tiny spatulas from the grill.

Next were the beef okonomiyaki and the okonomiyaki with pork, noodles and egg.

All the dishes we tried were great and perfectly cooked. Staff will spray you with febreeze (if you prefer) after leaving the restaurant.

Staff advised there were 50+ locations across japan so definitely give it a try.

We were all very satisfied with our food and would definitely be back again next time we...

Arrived at 7:25pm, waited for 5 mins and managed to be seated. Even we can’t understand Japanese completely, they still introduced the store’s history and menu to us. The female server is especially courteous and carries a smile. Despite she has to cook for a few tables, she cooked our monja gently without rush, and it’s delicious! We ended up having 3 monja for 2 persons. The vibes are also very good, people are enjoying themselves and started to sing (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) we had a...

We went on a bicycle tour and the guide recommended us this place. It is an absolute jewel! We hadn’t heard of Monjayaki before but he sparked our curiosity so we came to see it. And we couldn’t be more positively surprised. This dish is a must-try in Tokyo and the restaurant makes it wonderfully. The staff doesn’t speak English too well, but goes out of their way to help and be of best possible service. Hiroto served us and was such a dear, made us feel...

It was my first time having monjayaki and Moheji was extraordinary. We tried the menus that our server Nori recommended and it was all off the chart. I loved the grilled squid and the squid ink monjayaki with the toppings that were suggested. When I usually have trouble ordering the right menu in Japanese restaurants, Nori speaks perfect English so I highly recommend this restaurants for all the international visitors. 10 out of 10!
