Monsoon Cafe Odaiba — Restaurant in Tokyo

It's a little dim, with a narrow cave-like entrance, and when you enter inside, it is surprisingly wide.

Needless to say, it is a well-known Southeast Asian restaurant.

Visited on New Year’s day for lunch, we ordered for an Oriental set and Nasi goreng from the Holiday Menu. The oriental set comes with a main dish, Shrimp Toast, Steamed Chicken with sesame sauce, Spring roll and Jasmine Tea.

The only downside is shrimp on every dish. My husband who is allergic to crustaceans had a tough time in selecting the course meal. Finally decided to go with Thai Green Curry with Chicken. You can choose from brown rice, white rice and Thai rice.

The portions are small. I felt the price was a little high, but each menu had its own originality hence it’s okay.

Plenty of tables and few seats are placed near the window. Having a meal with an amazing view of the Rainbow Bridge uplifts the mood.

My dad and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Monsoon last friday, and it was a beautiful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Ikumi, who made us feel right at home with her friendly and attentive service. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. One of the highlights of our evening was the stunning view of the tower from our table. The food was fantastic. The flavors were amazing, and every bite was delicious. Throughout our meal, Ikumi's service was impeccable. She was attentive without being intrusive, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. The view &location were the best part ! Of our dinner . The restaurant dark, loud and smells fishy a little bit. Beside that , the service is slow, many servers are there wondering around none came to take our order! Until I waved.. then she brought it wrong ( BTW I was pointing on the menu to make sure she is getting it right ) and she forgot one of the orders! for basic things ,no water is refilled until you ask!
