Beautiful. A place I’d return to multiple times. 🍫Outstanding dessert: the chocolate cake is fudgy, intense, not too sweet, the cream on top has the perfect texture and thickness, it’s not just whipped cream. The shape makes it look like creamy gelato. Great balance of flavours. The manager told us about the research he’s done to improve it! So we like that they focus on having only one, very well done dessert in their menu. 🥛we also had their chocolate drink, both hot and iced. Really good and again, you taste real chocolate without it being overly sweet. The way we like it.

✨Atmosphere: bring someone on a date here and you’ll make a good impression. It’s a very elegant place I’d go on a date, or hang out with a friend. Perfect jazzy background music, so relaxing. I like the monochrome style! It doesn’t feel like a place where teenagers would go just for their Instagram shot, it’s a legit elegant place to relax and enjoy music over good coffee.

Prices are average, I’d say very reasonable for the quality they offer.

Jan 2025: came back a year later, Note changed their menu, matcha is served cold only. they also changed their chocolate cake - we were so sad. the iced matcha is just great, tastes like matcha ice cream but we loved the hot matcha so much, especially after a cold day.

Jan 2024: we were really lucky and were the only customers for a good 30 minutes (weekday). such great ambience, the jazz fits perfectly with the aesthetic. we ordered matcha and their buttercream chocolate cake - which is more a chocolate truffle, delicious! rich without being overly sweet, which we appreciate. the matcha was perfect, on the sweeter side.

we stayed for a while to recharge and it was so relaxing. definitely schedule this in as a rest stop if you’re shopping in Shibuya. we will be back again before we...

I love me some good coffee and a sweet treat to have with it, and this place came through on both. It’s in a basement with a discreet door in a discreet alleyway, so it feels a bit hidden. When you go down the steps you enter a very dark cafe, which feels more like a bar. It’s a cool and cozy and relaxed vibe. There are a handful of drinks, and I just went with their espresso which was very nice. I paired that with their chocolate cake, which is more of a mix between a terrine and a brownie, but man was it good. It’s a must try if you go. The service was friendly and fast.
