As I didn't know the theatre would be on 11th floor, I was delighted to see panoramic view of Shibuya from the window. The lobby is spacious and there's a cafe and a restaurant. The stairs however get very crowded, kind of not suited for almost 2000 people going up and down. The biggest disadvantage is the queue to the elevators after the performance. Moreover, some of the elevators turned out to be 'express', while the others were 'ordinary', stopping on any floor. While this is nice for those who know, it was a very unpleasant surprise to me, because the information plate (which is also in Japanese only) is only visible when you come close to the elevator doors, but not when you're standing in a queue. Read moreB5 exit of Shibuya station. The direct elevators are in a lobby on the right side. The doors are frosted so it's easy to miss. Go to the 11th floor. There's a Lawson and restaurant, it can be used without a ticket. No food and drinks inside the theater.
I sat on the first floor. The sound quality is excellent and it's easy to see the stage. But it was a good to bring binoculars.
Maybe it's the coronavirus situation but I felt the seats were too close together. I was bumped by the shoulder of the person sitting beside me several times. Compared to the movie theater seating, it seemed these seats are closer together.
