When visiting the Nakano Station area you’re probably there to soak in the otaku culture at Nakano Broadway. Before you enter the Sun Mall you’ll want to get in line for some delicious Obanyaki (stuffed Japanese pancake). We helped ourselves to a red bean paste and a custard cream. The imagawayaki (taiyaki?) was great. not so much about the filling but more about the batter used that makes them chewy and light. Had the red bean which was not so sweet and the cream cheese which was quite typical artificial cheese flavour. Would come again for...

Amazing little shop that makes freshly made Imagawayaki (crispy circular waffle/pancake filled with various fillings). Pastry cream is my favourite, but I would happily have everything on the menu. Really good price for really delicious...
