Patinastella 📍I liked so much I will come back soon .
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Patinastella in Shibuya, and it was truly a remarkable experience. ✨
From the moment you walk in, you feel a sense of elegance and calm. The interior is modern yet warm, with soft lighting, tasteful design, and a comfortable atmosphere that makes it perfect for both special occasions and a refined night out. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, adding to the overall experience.
The food itself is exceptional. Patinastella specializes in French-Japanese fusion cuisine, and every dish feels like a piece of art — both visually and in terms of flavor. I had the signature course menu (multi-course tasting), and each plate was beautifully presented, with seasonal ingredients and creative combinations that surprised me in the best way. The balance between delicate Japanese flavors and French culinary techniques was masterfully done. 🍽️✨
The wine selection is also worth mentioning. They offer excellent pairings that elevate the dining experience even further, and I appreciated the thoughtful explanations that helped me enjoy each pairing more deeply. 🍷
Of course, this is not an inexpensive restaurant — it’s definitely fine dining, so you should expect smaller portion sizes with a focus on quality and presentation. But if you come here with the mindset of enjoying a culinary journey rather than just filling up, it’s...

The Botan shrimp with edamame had a crisp, flavorful shell and a delicate, refined taste that set the perfect tone for the evening. The Noda duck with foie gras was rich and indulgent, while the spotted grouper with clams and green peas was light yet full of umami.
The highlight of the evening was the Yamagata wagyu sirloin with truffle—it absolutely melted in our mouths and was cooked to perfection. We finished with the Chef Pâtissier’s sweet treasure box, an elegant and creative dessert course that ended the meal on a beautiful note.
The service was truly exceptional. Each dish was explained in detail, including the source of the ingredients, which made the experience even more special. The staff was incredibly attentive, thoughtfully replacing silverware between courses and ensuring we were comfortable throughout the evening.
The sommelier also stood out—expertly introducing each glass of champagne and wine with care and precision. Every pairing elevated the meal even further.

Their menu features French-Italian dishes crafted with Japanese ingredients, including Noda Duck from Miyagi-ken served with foie gras and seabream from Numazu port paired with seasonal vegetables from Izu.
To finish, they presented a charming dessert box with Mango Canelé, Peach Yōkan, Pineapple & Coconut Bonbons, and my personal favorite, the Passion Fruit Tartlet.
I also loved their extensive wine list, which includes great selections from their very own Naka-Izu...
