I have no idea why the reviews are so high really. All of the dishes were mediocre if not slightly bad and with bad interpretation. We had the caprese salad, usually its slices of mozzarella, tomato, basil and balsamic vinegar. This specific salad didn’t even slightly mention it, as there was a tiny bit of cheese and no balsamic vinegar. We also ordered the Caesar salad which usually comes with an egg yolk, heaps of Parmesan, olive oil, anchovies and lemon. Again, this interpretation was awful, barely any Parmesan, there was a huge slice of bacon on top of the salad which you’ll need to cut yourself which makes the plating pretty stupid and inconvenient, the sauce was more on the tahini/sesame flavors then an actual Caesar salad. As for the pizzas, we had 4, Quattro, meat lovers pizza, corn pizza and the Parmesan DOC. The Quattro pizza was okay, too much blue cheese overpowering taste, the corn pizza was also not very bad but had a very strange fishy taste to the sauce? As for the meat lovers, yes it was packed with meat but it completely lacked flavor, 0 salt, 0 taste to the tomato base sauce and overall not a very good pizza. As for the DOC Parmesan pizza, I would rate it 0/10 as it was the most expensive pizza on the menu and we basically received a marinara sauce pizza with 3 pieces of small mozzarella balls. Overall, not a bad pizza place but also not a good one. Definitely would not recommend at all if you appreciate real, good and basic...
Read moreChose this restaurant for a quick get together with friends. There were 8 of us. I was glad we were accommodated despite making the reservation on the same day.
Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly by the staffs. We ordered drinks and food and while it took some time, it was tasty. The male server was also pleasant and accommodating.
The experience would’ve been good overall if not for a wait staff that got to our nerves. (Short-haired female staff) We were not even finished eating but we’ve noticed her lurking and checking our table many times to take out empty plates. Now I understand that since it was a weekend, we’ll have to work with the 2-hour dining rule they had. We are very conscious of the time but it just felt so irritating and rude to have her come back at our table many times to try and take empty dishes. Even to a point where a friend had one slice of pizza left in the plate and he just ate it to give the empty plate to the server who was waiting to get empty dishes. It didn’t even hit the 2-hour mark yet. Our table wasn’t even full for her to empty most of our plates. We felt so hurried and her actions made us feel pressured to finish all the remaining food that we have. It felt as though we were passively asked to hurry up and leave right after finishing.
I’m usually understanding about situations like this, but the server’s actions had us leaving the restaurant with an...
Read moreHere's another fancy garbage restaurant that doesn't need to exist. We only ordered a couple of pizzas, so I can't say anything about other menu items, but the pizzas were mediocre at best: decent dough, weak sauce, cheap cheese, bad construction. Two of eight slices of my pizza had zero toppings because of huge bubbles. Just bad skill. There was a surprise cover charge on top of their already overpriced-but-worse-than-average food, so it ended up costing more than twice what it was worth (i.e., what I would pay at another place for a similar meal). And there is no table bread, salad, or soup included as is typical for this kind of place. So, overall, pretty bad. But the location and atmosphere are good, so it get's two stars...probably 1.5...
