DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! There’s nothing special about the food, only the ambience is decent. You can eat much better food at Bombay Sizzler or any other restaurant for a lower price. I used to come here and even left a good review before, but my today’s visit was the worst experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I sat down for dinner, it felt rushed and uncomfortable. One staff member immediately asked to take my order, fair enough, but I asked for a minute to look through their massive menu. Less than a minute later, another staff member came over, stood by my table making irritating beep-beep sounds on his ordering device, and kept asking “Not decided yet?” It was extremely annoying, especially since the place wasn’t even busy. We ordered the course menu, and the food was terrible. The “Priya Special Dry Chicken” was especially bad, so much so that I’m writing this review from the toilet with stomach pain. To make things worse, they didn’t even serve dessert but still charged us the full price. And about their so-called “friendly service” sure, they talk a lot to customers, but honestly, it just ruins any sense of privacy. Also, a note on the staff: One of them, a Japanese-looking guy (not sure if he’s Indian or not) had a really bad attitude, which made the experience even worse. It’s high time they change their approach. Overpriced, overrated, and overly intrusive. Never going back.

Indulge in the town's finest Indian cuisine – from the impeccable naan to the tantalizing Tantori chicken and a lassi with the perfect balance. The Priya set offers a curry extravaganza, complemented by a delightful cheese naan option. A must-try for diverse flavors and a memorable dining experience. During lunch, the Priya Curry set and Chef’s special lunch offer a fantastic opportunity to sample five out of six curry options, conveniently shared between two adults. Adding a delightful twist, the +¥400 cheese naan complements the experience. The lassi impresses with its rich texture and an impeccable balance between sour and sweet notes. The curry, remarkably rich, leaves diners marveling at how its volume seems unaffected, especially when paired with the tempting naan. Each curry boasts a unique flavor profile, with the vegetable curry standing out as a pleasant surprise. As a refreshing conclusion, the light apple jelly dessert adds a satisfying touch that lingers, leaving your palate in a state of contentment. For future visits, the recommendation for solo is to opt for the Priya set with three curries, ensuring a delightful exploration of varied flavors and spice levels.

Went for a quick lunch today during my work break as the place is a 6 minute walk from my office.

The food was excellent! The naan bread was soft, fresh, and fluffy. The tandoori chicken was one of the best I've ever had. Crispy in the right places and incredibly tender and juicy on the inside, and bursting with amazing flavors of spice. The chicken curry was a little sweet for my liking, but still good nonetheless. A solid 4 out of 5 stars for taste.

But service? I honestly did not find it 'exceptional' like many others seemed to find it. The staff were not friendly in my opinion, and seemed to be in a rush to take my order which I picked up on when they were taking other customers' orders as well. They hardly acknowledged me when bringing my food/putting away my finished plates, and seemed annoyed when I asked for them to bring my lunch set drink.

As for the atmosphere, it certainly is a stylish little place with nice tableware and a sophisticated and simplistic vibe. Halfway through my meal, however, they completely turned off the music, leaving me and the one other customer who was there at the time feeling awkward sitting in the silence while we ate. I assumed they did that as they were perhaps closing for lunch and wanted us to leave soon, but I realized that that was not the case when more and more people began arriving a short while later. I even noticed two gentlemen who came in, one of who immediately commented on how 'quiet' the place was, followed by some nervous chuckles and conversation in hushed voices.

I would return again, but not for the atmosphere or service. Solely for the food. I would advise that they make an effort to be more pleasant and accommodating to their customers, and try not to turn off the music without warning as that affects people's dining experience more than you...
