Propaganda — Restaurant in Tokyo

I visited this restaurant last Sunday. From the outside, the place looked inviting and well-designed, with a unique style that caught my attention. The atmosphere inside was family-friendly, suitable for both children and adults. There were tables for small groups as well as larger ones, making it a comfortable spot for friends, couples, and families alike.

The menu offered a good variety of dishes and drinks, though nothing stood out as particularly different from other restaurants of the same type.

I went during the early evening. My friend arrived before me and mentioned that the food and drinks were taking quite some time. I arrived around 7:30 PM, and while the restaurant had a moderate number of customers—which made the wait somewhat understandable—it still felt noticeably slow. I ordered one drink and three dishes, and all of them took a long time to be served. Fortunately, the pleasant atmosphere and conversation with my friend helped pass the time.

However, the biggest disappointment came with one specific issue. My friend had ordered the “Pasta of the Day” before I arrived, but it never came. When my food was finally served, I asked the staff if that order was still on our list. They told me it wasn’t, so we decided not to re-order since we were worried about waiting too long again.

Everything seemed fine until I got home and checked the bill. To my surprise, the “Pasta of the Day” was listed and charged, even though it was never served. I felt very disappointed. Of course, part of the responsibility was mine as well, since I didn’t double-check the bill at the restaurant. Also, no detailed bill was presented before payment, which made it harder to notice the mistake at the time.

Overall, this was a negative experience. It’s a shame because the restaurant itself has potential, but due to this incident, I don’t think I will return. I’d also like to leave this as a reminder for others—always check your bill carefully...

Service was extremely slow, waited 20 minutes just to order, 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive, we were told half an hour to get shisha even though there was only one other group in this quite spacious venue. When the shisha came we were told that we had to smoke it outside. I could tell that other customers were also getting annoyed by the (lack of) service. There was no menu for the shisha flavours, the waiter gave us a box of 5 flavours and it was left to us to decipher and...

Nice restaurant. I tried one of their lunch menus, キーマカレー (keema curry), and it tasted very good. It included a soup. The menu said you have to order at least one drink, so I had a cranberry juice (good as well). You can also serve yourself water.
