I had a great experience overall. The host/server was very friendly and we had good conversation despite a slight language barrier. I was dining alone and greatly appreciated his kindness and attentiveness. The food was served hot and fresh, and it was a good value for the price of 2300 yen (vegetarian combo). I ordered the mushroom dal curry, mixed vegetable curry, and the aloo palak, which came with a side salad, a plate with a samosa and 6-8 pakoras, and a tangy lassi. I requested a spiciness level of 3 out of 5, but the ‘heat’ was nothing more than a slight tickle. The atmosphere was simple and welcoming, but the table was kind of sticky. That being said I was still plenty comfortable to dine in and enjoy myself.
Edit: 30 minutes after writing this review I made myself crave Indian food again so I came back lol… This time I got the garlic naan, fish pakora, and the prawn curry and chana masala, all with the maxed out spiciness level. I could definitely feel the heat this time, but as a former spice whimp I have to admit it might not satisfy the sadists who want to feel pain when eating...

And they tell you that only when you try to pay with the card, there's no sign or notice in the menu about that special fee. Only by that, as a restaurant, they're below average already by normal standards. But the service is so horrible... I think the clerk is kind of trying, but not hard enough. He should go the restaurant in the next/front building and see how different they treat you. If you're used to any other restaurant in Japan, the service here feels really horrible. The food is also very slow. And the nan is huge (refer to pic). It's at least 1.5 times larger than other restaurants. Besides that, the food is pretty normal though, not really bad. If you're really hungry, want to eat a lot, go by foot, and don't care about the service, you might enjoy coming here, otherwise...

I especially liked the nan, which though being very large, is light and crispy on one side and fluffy on the other. I added the chicken tikka to my lunch for a mere 150 yen extra, and it was large, spicy and delicious. Highly...
