Entrance fees 800Yens on 3rd floor for the day (if not going out) - table tennis on 8th floor - shower room etc .., Badminton on the next room (separated). Crowded from PM7:30~PM9:00, usually there is a lottery to get 1 table ... That means even you pay entrance fee 800Y, you are not sure at all to play ! Lottery is renewed every 1h. So you might just wait 1h the next lottery, and maybe never play if you loose every time to get a table. When there are more people than tables, a lottery determine who can play for 1 hour. But this lottery is quite not appropriate : for example, unfair players come at 3 (5) people, they get 2(3) tables at lottery (because 5 players participate to lottery) but eventually 1 table is occupied by only 1 person, rather than 2 players (as impair umber of player). So if you are coming with a partner (2 person), and send 1 person to lottery and he/she fails in lottery, you can just watch 1 table occupied by a lucky lottery player, who is just not playing because he is just alone ! So be aware that this place is crowded in the evening, and rules are not so fair sometimes. If you come in day time, I think there are more tables than players, so there is no lottery. Be careful in the evening time. Better consider another place with eventually some possible...
Read moreRegarding the gym area specifically, there are a large set of weight machines, with quick/immediate availability when I went on a Wednesday at 11am. The free weights area only has three benches so that could be improved with one or two more. There are more than enough running and step machines.
The equipment is not state-of-the-art but I also wouldn't say it's old and tired.
A few pointers;
to pay the entrance fee, there is an automatic ticket machine that accepts cash or card, just to the left as you enter the reception area no outdoor shoes allowed as soon as you pass the barriers and turn right into the gym area no shoes allowed at all in changing rooms bring 100 yen coin to use the locker inside the changing room bring you own soap, there is none in the showers no need to bring ID (in my case at least as a day-user) it's prohibited to take pictures inside the gym, but you can still take your phone in. I could listen to music on my phone...

For instance z every Tuesday from 6pm until 10pm, the arena is dedicated to basketball. From 7pm to 9pm the staff will organise people in teams and will referee so you can play 5on5. You don't even need to bring your own basketball as they have many to be used freely.
Gym may be overcrowded in peak hours, specially the bench press, squat rack and the Smith machine, as they only have one of each.
Highly recommend if you definitely want to practice...
