Rouma — Restaurant in Tokyo

B+ [it's aight / 還可以]

· found a Szechuan mapo tofu restaurant that cost 880 Yen as of March 2025

· i like how you order on iPad (but no english translation)

· mapo tofu smelled fragrant + was boiling hot when it came out

· the tofu was silky soft and tasted delicious with the sauce

· flavorful hints of black bean + sliced onion + garlic

· however the minced meat inside the sauce was beyond overcooked + tasted rubbery

· came with basic salad + unmemorable egg soup

· cash only (no suica is sad but expected in these restaurants)

tldr: good + cheap mapo tofu if you want to save...

The food is very delicious. The taste is good and the portions are large. The ingredients are good. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The service is very good. I recommend this restaurant....

けっこう前ですが、昼には遅い時間に入りました。 麻婆豆腐等の四川料理の店みたいですね。 シックな内装で、あまり中国的な雰囲気は無かったです。 席は４人掛けテーブル３。カウンター６。お手洗いは２階に有り、テーブル席も２階に沢山有りました。 頼んだのは《麻婆豆腐定食》780円。《焼き餃子》580円。合計1360円です。 ガチ中華かと思ったので、麻婆豆腐は火を吹く様な辛さと、舌が麻痺する痺れを期待していました。しかし、残念ながら辛さも痺れも弱いです。豆板醤ではなく、辣油しか使っていないのかも。ニンニクとショウガも入っていないか微量ですね。花椒は入れてるのかな？痺れが感じられません。他のレビュアーさんの書き込みでは痺れを感じたと有ったのですがね。...
