They seem very busy and understaff. No one gave us a menu so we asked after between 5-10 minutes of sitting. Which seems slow for a Japanese restaurant. I went on a Tuesday at 3pm.
My friend and I only ordered appetizers. The penne pasta, fried chicken, caesar salad, charcuterie, and the cheese toast.
The pasta portion was small. But the sauce was very flavorful and had a good aroma from the cheese. The fried chicken was juicy and the skin was well seasoned. It had a strong balance that reminded me of Korean fried chicken that is cooked and seasoned well. The salad was well made and had a good balance of dressing, seasoning, and ingredients. Overall I was impressed for type of food they are trying to serve.
I didnt mind the price as I wasnt looking to budget. It ended up coming out to be ¥5000ぐらい which I wouldn't say was bad. Portion sizes were not too big. I would come here for a pleasant meal but not if you are...
Read moreWent twice but ate once. First time a friend was already inside so I didn't have to wait. They gave us a lot of space. Open kitchen and popular with locals. Liked it enough to try a second time, however was unimpressed.
Busy lunch peak time, and staff seemed stressed and unable to welcome us or answer questions nicely. We had just hauled buggies up the stairs and found a que inside, going up the stairs. We couldn't que up the stairs with buggies, and we just wanted to ask how long the wait would be. The unhelpful man put us off so we ended up next door (at Kihachi, and had a comfortable good time there). Won't be going back.
Has a bakery so assuming the bread and pizza are good and fresh.
No nappy changing table(seems common in Tokyo...
Read moreVery nice place to enjoy and relax. The restaurant had a strawberry theme which was really cute. They had a little candle on the table which is very romantic and sweet. We wanted to have a seat at the terrace, but we couldn't resist sitting on a table with a candle on. There was a special menu with strawberry theme dishes. Kinda pricey, but the cake was very good. Also, there was an online shop were you can get cute strawberry theme items. The restaurant itself is located in a very nice location where you can enjoy the view of Aoyama street. Unfortunately, the second floor was opened only for dinner, and we only wanted to enjoy a cup of coffee with some sweets. In general, it was a very nice experience, totally worth a shot if you are...
