The appeal of this place is the spacious 2nd floor workspace. Be aware the stairs are narrow and quite steep, take caution if you have mobility issues. I'd recommend sitting near the windows upstairs with natural sunlight, as the other tables can feel kind of dim and sleepy. Overall a clean space, and most of the customers are quietly doing their work or studying. Unfortunately the power outlets are locked and not available for charging devices.

Very spacious and comfortable, compared to most other San Marcs around Tokyo. Quite a few sofas etc. upstairs, and you can keep a good distance from the smoking room if you want. Upstairs is a bit dark. You can order pasta and fresh grilled sandwiches, which I was happy to find. I like to hang out and study a while after lunch, so it's nice to have choices other than the standard croissants etc. Unfortunately there's no free wifi service. The second floor is incredibly spacious, with various types of seating and sofas, high ceilings, and wide spacing between seats, so there is no feeling of oppression. The high ceiling and the seats are spaced well apart, so there is no feeling of pressure. The sound is just suitable for those who want to concentrate and those who want to chat.
