Lunch set was a good price, service was excellent and friendly.

Had salami pizza; dough was fine, think it could have had more flavor, also, the crust did not have a good spring/puff to it like Neapolitan has, sauce was OK and lacked much flavor of basil and sea salt was at a minimum a bit bland.

Wife had pasta Carbonaro, again it was OK, not bad not the best. Nice piece of bread with it, very flavorful.

I think both the pizza and pasta could be improved upon, but with that said, it was a nice lunch.

We found this lovely restaurant tucked away in Mejiro, an easy walk away from our hotel in Ikebukuro - and I'm so glad we did! The atmosphere was cosy and the staff made us feel really welcome. The food and wine was delicious too. We don't speak Japanese, but that wasn't a problem as there was English on the menu and the staff were polite and patient. This is a great place to go for casual Italian-style food! I went with a large group, so we reserved in advance. They have a great deal for a 3 hour multiple-course meal that includes all you can drink. It comes out to 4000-5000 yen per person. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed.
