Had lunch here with a friend on short notice. The lunch menu was limited and not exactly German. Having said that my fried chicken dish with potato salad was actually quite good. Beer selection is also decent. For a medium sized beer and a lunch menu item, it came to about about 2,200 per person before taxes. Service was friendly and quick. I think there're better options around Lalaport Toyosu but if you're in a hurry or the lines elsewhere are too long, this restaurant is decent. Just nothing to write home about.

Was allerdings deutlich negativ auffällt, sind die extrem hohen Preise bzw. kleinen Portionen. Eine einfache Brezel kostet inzwischen fast doppelt so viel wie noch vor drei Jahren – und das bei eher durchschnittlichem Geschmack. Sie ist eher hart und trocken. Schade. Auch die Currywurst ist leider sehr fad im Geschmack und hat nicht den typischen Curry Geschmack, sondern schmeckt eher sehr nach Tomate. Die Pommes ist ganz lecker, aber sehr fettig. Für Touristen, die Japan besuchen, würden wir das Restaurant nicht empfehlen – vor allem nicht als „kulinarische Abwechslung“. Die japanische Küche bietet deutlich mehr Qualität, Vielfalt und Authentizität zu einem wesentlich besseren Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir sind hingegangen, weil unsere japanischen Gäste deutsches Essen gewünscht haben. Ich würde allerdings nicht noch mal wieder herkommen.

While the food itself was good, I was very disappointed by the service.

From the get go, the server forgot to add in my order of Schnitzel. I ordered two (one for my friend), but only one had been put into the system. There was no apology for it, and in general, I found service to be rather curt.

When it came time to pay for my bill, my friend and I paid separately, and the cashier added part of his bill to mine. While I understand that mistakes are unavoidable sometimes, for just a schnitzel, a side of fries, and two beers (one of his), the bill came out to over ¥6000.

Was the food good? Sure. But was it worth that amount? Not even close.

I appreciated her gift of two small cans of beers, and frankly, that’s the only reason this place is getting two stars instead of one.

I do not think I’ll ever be coming back, and cannot in good conscience recommend this place to...

Went for lunch, the lunch menu was reasonably priced. I had the roast pork and sausage combo, the pork was juicy and tender. The sausage was good put seemed liked something that could be purchased at a supermarket (I will go back and try the many diffrent sausage they have during dinner). The sauerkraut was great, sweet but not to much and the added cumin was a nice touch just wish they gave more of it. My wife enjoyed her pork gulasch and beer flight and I really liked the light tasting dunkel I had. Will definitely come back for lunch again and to try the dinner menu. Went back for dinner and was just as good the habanero...
