THE PENTHOUSE with weekend terrace — Restaurant in Tokyo

I really wanted to like this restaurant as it's one of the few (if not only) upper scale places that have a view in Toyosu. But everything was a bit of a hit&miss. Lunch might be better value.

Atmosphere: Nice layout with most tables having a good view. But the sofa seats by the window have their back somehow blocking the view so you have to stand to see it which defeats the purpose.

Service: Some waiters were knowledgeable about the food and provided great service, promptly asked (in English too) if I needed anything when I was looking around. Some others had no idea about the ingredients in the dishes, kept forgetting to bring things like water and cutlery, and were just not friendly and welcoming. Operation wasn't running smoothly and the waiters weren't communicating well, we saw our pizza come out and it was just left in front of us with at least 3 people checking it and doing nothing.

Food: Pizza was 7/10, taste was good but small and needed a bit more in the dough, but the kids liked it. Lasagna was 8/10, generous sizing. Acqua pazza 7/10 (the female waiter didn't really know what was in it) tasty but a bit bland. It's a full fish so wouldn't recommend for children. Lamb 4/10, two pieces for 4200 and we got exactly one bite from each as the rest was inedible fat. I gave the feedback to the waiter who checked with the kitchen, he said maybe he could ask to make a new one but it would take quite a while - it was our last dish so I said it was ok. I would have expected at least the feedback to be shared with what looked like the manager at the front desk but I had to repeat myself only to be told "that was within their parameters" so I don't recommend ordering that unless you enjoy waiting for long and spend that much just to get two tiny...

Very bad customer service... Dirty kitchen...

We were guest from the hotel, visited the restaurant on a weekday for a coffee and a piece of cake. We were not dressed in fancy clothes, just casual. The staff treated us unwell, got a place but they didnt wanted us here, you could feel that. We got told very unfriendly, that the seats directly at the window is just for reservation which is fine but they said it so rude. Also nobody came to get our order even after telling them friendly. They look at us bored and uninteressted or with a forced smile while the other guest got a really friendly and attentive treatment. Really sad that this restaurant just cares about the look of people.

The ice latte was ok... not very good but not bad either. The desserts are good but it took really long till we got it while others got their order immediatly...

The kitchen and the terrase outside look very dirty... i dont really wanna eat there... The inside is nice

The view is incredible but the service is bad if you are not dressed with expensive clothes and accessories which makes me stay away from that restaurants. I've been to other "High class" bars/restaurants like this before and got treated l nicely and welcoming even tho i looked casual, i am still a paying customer which happily pays a higher price if the restaurant or bar is an amazing and...

Best place for a lunch date with an ocean view! I love this place!!!

Delicious food with nice decorations. The staff explains the menu in detail and was very friendly!

They accepted my on-the-spot request to make a birthday plate with the message and the quality was amazing 🤩

Recommend this place if you are looking for a bit more luxurious place to date.

The restaurant is located in the reception lobby of Mitsui Garden Hotel Toyosu.

Yurakucho line is connected to the building directly from the station so you don’t have a to get out at all.

I will definitely come back to this...
