Came on Sunday morning (11:20am) and there was already queue before opening. Spaghetti was as thick as Goto Udon. It had unique starchy texture similar to Sanuki Udon. For salt basilico, The flavour of smoked bacon and basil was just a perfect match. There was a bit too much oil in but I enjoyed it. 300g is for standard size, so quite filling. I visited this place because I heard the Napolitan pasta here is really good. Since itâs located near the station and is quite well-known, there was a fairly long wait.
They had English menus available, the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and the food itself was definitely tasty. That said, I personally didnât feel the taste was impressive enough to justify the long wait. Maybe itâs because Napolitan pasta, by nature, isnât a particularly high-end dish.
If you're in Nakameguro and want to enjoy a tasty Napolitan at a reasonable price â and the line happens to be short â I think it's worth a visit.
Of course, I havenât tried all the menu items, so I did wonder whether itâs fair to judge based on just one dish. But since Napolitan seems to be their signature item, I based this review on that...
