If you love music you must come here and enjoy it! Not only Bocchi The Rock’s appearance is attractive but also great inside! Multiple kinds of music you can listen to and chatting with the locals! When I went to Shimokitazawa I didn’t expect this kind of rock band can be so wonderful, I experienced an unforgettable night. This vibrant neighborhood perfectly embodied the spirit of its thriving street culture, and it was all beautifully showcased at the live music venue. First and foremost, I was mesmerized by the rock band's performance. Their music was filled with passion and energy, and it completely drew me in. Every note was charged with power, every song irresistible, and I found myself swaying to the rhythm without restraint. Moreover, Shimokitazawa's nightlife offered a delightful array of beverages. While enjoying the music, I sampled some delectable drinks, ranging from craft beers to creative cocktails. These libations added a special flavor to the entire night. Lastly, I must emphasize the atmosphere in Shimokitazawa. It felt like a haven for music and art enthusiasts, where people were passionate and eager to connect over their shared love for music. Whether making new friends or enjoying the moment with old ones, I felt genuinely elated. In conclusion, my excursion to Shimokitazawa to listen to a rock band was a night filled with music, delicious drinks, and boundless enthusiasm. This place has an indescribable charm, and I highly recommend it to all music aficionados and adventurers. It promises an unforgettable evening filled with the magic and joy of music.

Cool small venue that feels quite personal. I decided to go watch without knowing what bands were playing that night and bought a ticket at the door. Admission includes a drink ticket. MOSHIMO and Asu No Polaris played and the ambiance was great. I learned of Shelter from Bocchi the Rock but would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cool show. Do make sure you aren't inconveniencing the venue and the patrons if you are going to take pictures. If you can, I'd encourage attending a show to ensure places like this can thrive and to support the artists that perform there. There's a website that shows what shows are upcoming.

Visited this venue on my Japan trip a few months ago. Many fans know about this venue from the anime Bocchi the Rock. But even without the nostalgia, it is a great place to come see some music. The cover charge and drink prices are inexpensive and we got to see multiple idol groups in one night. The atmosphere was small enough that you didn’t feel lost in the crowd and the meet-and-greets afterwards were very personal. It was definitely worth the train ride out of central Tokyo.

Shelter is awesome! I came to Shelter because of Bocchi the Rock, but I am also a big fan of Japanese rock music. I ordered tickets online, which didn’t require a Japanese address or phone number (very common for venues in Japan to require that). The music was awesome, the atmosphere was amazing, everything was super fun and enjoyable. And I became a fan of a new band I had never heard of before (Lumirice)!
