The food was fantastic! The burgers and fried chicken were extremely hot and fresh. The quality of meat was excellent. The fries however were room temp, so they were likely cooked in a large batch and served per dish.
The Nutella milkshake took some time to come out but was worth the wait! It was rich but extremely delicious.
They are however quite greasy and on the pricier side. We paid around $80AUD for 2 burger combos, and fried chicken side dish. There is an option for ‘free refills’ on all soft drinks and you are able to help yourself.
I believe they are open until 3am so this would be a great option for a late night craving after visiting bars or clubs in the area.
They have a screen at the front door, for you to place your own order. It is available in most languages including English. There is also a waiter available to assist in the ordering process that spoke basic English.
We visited on a Friday night around 8:30-9pm and the restaurant was packed. It is only small with minimal seating. If you are a group of 3 or more, I recommend a...
Read moreOn my Japan trip I have always been looking forward to try Shogun Burger and tonight I finally had the chance. Unfortunately I feel pretty disappointed after my first and probably last visit. The queue was not too long so after ordering we received our burgers approximately thirty minutes later. We ordered two double cheeseburger sets with fries and sodas. The burger itself looked marvelous but was impossible to eat. After I took my first bite half of the burger fell already out since the meat was in pieces inside the burger, not in the form of a patty. The taste was not too bad, you get not much fries with the burger and there are definitely better tasting ones. The music was in my opinion too loud but you could get unlimited free refills for the drinks. For the price we paid around 45€ I do not think what you get at Shogun Burger is worth it, there are definitely better options for a burger...
Read moreWe had nice cheese burgers lunch at this popular wagyu burger joint in Shinjuku and added an Iberico Bacon and Fries + Draft Beer Set upgrade to one of the burger. Total costs were ¥ 4,680, inclusive of consumption tax. This is the best wagyu burger we had during our Japanese holiday in Mar-Apr 2025. The beef patties were juicy and properly grilled. The fries were also nicely prepared and complemented the burgers very well.
The place is not big, but neatly decorated with modern look. It still has good ambience for you to enjoy your burgers solo or with friends / family. Customer services are good as usual and the staff members will try to assist and communicate with you in English. The order process should be simple, just use the machine right at the door and make payment at the machine as well (similar to ramen system, but more modern since you can pay with V/MC...
