So far this fall/winter 2023 I have visited over 10 saunas here in Tokyo and have a lifetime of sauna experience; had a sauna in my home and lived in Finland. I feel I am a good judge of saunas or at least I know what I like and what I feel is authentic Finnish Sauna, your opinion may differ.
As an older lightly tattooed Gaijin I seek Tattoo friendly/accepting Saunas. I visit Saunas which allow tattoos or at least accept a sticker to cover them. Never have I been denied service or bothered about my tattoos or stickers.
So I base my reviews on this criteria and my experience with Finnish Sauna.
My review of this sauna is as follows;
Pro (good)
Tattoos allowed Clean Security Cameras, every row of Lockers Friendly service Menu in English Nice lockers, long enough so my pants are not folded Cold bath 20c nice temp to cool down Location, Kabukicho not far from station Sauna was over 100c according to thermometer located high on the wall above the stove, there was no steam so it did not feel as hot Combs and hair dryer, other amenities
Con (bad) Television in the Sauna (very bad) should be in the lounge Smoking inside the lounge, which is connected to the locker room etc. Bright lights in the Sauna Some mold around the window vents A bit too hot for me, over 100c, prefer 90c-95c
I give only a 3 stars due to the TV and bright lights in the sauna, it is bad to have bright lights and noise in a sauna, it should be a place to relax and have serenity.
Recommended and will...

Read moreI dropped in here to get in sauna. They have 900JPY for just one hour plan. This sauna accepts people with tattoos on their skin, and it means some of them are yakuza. There are two saunas. One is 106 centigrade and another 86. Water bath was 19 centigrade. Nice sauna spot. I am not sure if I come again because building is a little old. It is a little dark. Some people are with tattoos (well, I don't discriminate). I didn't get energetic...
