This hotel is located in the heart of Shinjuku Kabukicho. Located about 2 min walk from different subway stations, restaurants, hotels, convenience stores, and other points of interest. I loved that I was minutes away from the next to-do in Tokyo. The hotel is clean, modern design, fast elevators, and the perfect small sized bedrooms. Pack smart and light - there isn't much room in the bedrooms, but that is the point of this hotel as you are here to explore and enjoy what Tokyo has to offer. Although the rooms are small, they have everything you could possibly need. The design is well thought-of, and they utilize every inch of the space for something you will need. Luggage will fit comfortably under the bed; bedroom has a little table for your small items like make up, phone charges, etc. Bathroom has a smart bidet-toilet, a sink that also controls your shower, and a tub in case you want to soak for a bit. The TV was large and easy to use, even for non-native speakers. The bed headboard is also smart and contains ports for you to connect your phone and charge it overnight.
The staff is very friendly and they made check-in super easy and convenient. During check-in, you must provide your passport so it can be scanned. You also must fill out their form with your personal information, but since everything is done on their large-screen computers, they provide the forms in multiple languages, for your convenience. The check out was even more convenient than the check in; once you are ready to leave, simply go to their lobby and drop off the key in one of their check-out machines - it will scan your room code and close your reservation.
This hotel location also has their own restaurant. The staff at the restaurant was really kind and helpful. They suggested things off their menu and brought the food as soon as they were ready. We love Indian food and they had plenty options in their menu - one of the best nam I have ever had in my life.
Overall, this was a great experience and great value for the money we paid per night. Being able to walk anywhere we wanted to or choose to take the subway was my favorite part.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and cannot wait to...
Read moreThis hotel is conveniently located near Shinjuku Station, just a 7-10 minute walk away. The rooms are small but sufficient for a stay.
However, there were several issues that made our experience disappointing and ensure that we won't return.
Firstly, the cleanliness was subpar; there was dust and even hair in the bathroom.
Secondly, the electrical outlets were not compatible with our own devices. We have stayed in multiple hotels during our trip and had no issues with using our hair straightener or Dyson hair dryer, except at this hotel where they didn't work properly.
Furthermore, we were unable to open the window in our second-floor room. The room constantly smelled like cooking due to a restaurant located beneath us, and the view from the room was just a wall of another building.
Additionally, the street noise was loud and disturbing, making it difficult for us to sleep peacefully.
The most unacceptable part of our stay was the service. We booked two separate stays at this hotel, intending to leave our large suitcase behind during our brief out-of-town trip.
We prepared smaller bags for our excursion and planned to return to the same hotel the following day. However, the staff refused to hold our luggage beyond 24 hours, even though we were returning to stay at the hotel again. Instead of accommodating our simple request, they suggested we use a delivery service to send our suitcase back to their hotel (like picking up from their hotel and send it back to their hotel.) This was weird and not a practical solution and left us having to carry our large suitcase around.
In summary, due to the poor service and inconvenient experiences encountered, we will not be returning to this hotel. This was a disappointing and...
Read morehorrible service, bad experience, tiny rooms.
when we checked in, we got a room that smelled horrible. whole room smelled like wet dog/wet clothes. they changed our room and until we checked out, everything was kind of ok. had to get our keys changed multiple times as they stopped working for no reason so that was unconvenient. it wasn’t until we checked out that we really got to see how bad the service was. we were running a bit late and asked if we could checkout late to which they said yes (for a fee). at that time, they started bombarding our room with calls and started knocking on our door to get us to leave. we told them we needed 5-10 minutes to make sure we had everything (rooms are incredibly small so having 2 suitcases open is a no go). instead of saying ok, one of the staff WATCHED us rush and pack our bags and kept saying “hurry” and telling us she would charge us a nights stay for being 15-20 min late. we said we had paid for late checkout and then she said she would charge an extra 1000 yen for us being later than the checkout time we asked for. we don’t mind paying a fee for checking out late but we DO MIND being watched and rushed from INSIDE our room. it was the worst service we have ever received from any hotel chain ever. no one has watched us from inside the room constantly talking to us every 30 seconds to kick us out when we are paying guests. INSANE. and i thought japan was polite. ruined our experience and morning. rooms are tiny and washrooms are even smaller; can barely sit on the toilet (have to sit at a 45 degree angle) which is extremely uncomfortable. would...
