Sinatra — Restaurant in Tokyo

I thought I would write a review as soon as I got back to the United Kingdom.

I stayed in Ebisu for a week just past and ate in quite a few local restaurants but was incredibly impressed by Sinatra.

Myself and my friend sat up at the bar and were presented with an English. Although there is no right way to order we decided to start from the top to the bottom and eat as if it was a tasting menu.

The food was incredible, every plate offered different tastes and the flavour profiles complimented eachother perfectly. It was easily the best meal I have eaten in Japan and one of the greatest meals I have had in my life.

The great part was being able to observe the chef’s at work, every dish was presented beautifully with pinpoint precision from the chef’s. The dishes displayed a high level of skill and attention to detail. As someone who has worked in kitchens, the cooking style presented is just simply not available in the UK.

The staff seemed to be able to transition from a customer facing role to a cooking without any breaking of flow from the kitchen, it was amazing to watch and definitely not something I’ve ever seen before.

I want to thank the amazing ladies who catered to us, I didn’t catch their names but they were so kind and helpful to us.

This is my second time in Japan and I can’t wait to come back so I can eat here again.

困ったらシナトラみたいなとこあるよね 料理も雰囲気も接客も安定のお店

店内はシックだけど暖かみのあるお洒落空間 地下に完全個室も完備

居酒屋メニューに少しずつ手間と工夫を加えた 正に割烹居酒屋メニューという感じ。 どれも安定的に美味しい。

今回お酒あんまり飲まなかったのもあるけど、 にしても会計安くてびっくり。 これは高コスパですわ。

意外と遅い時間までやってるのもありがたい。 みんなも覚えておいてね。 「困ったらシナトラ」

Dope Izakaya. We really came here for the ホルモン but it was all super great. The price for food is a bit on the higher end but the portions are also generous.
