Soba-dokoro Sukehei — Restaurant in Tokyo

The staff working today perhaps are the most complicated people and found it frankly difficult. I think I’ve brought 20 people here over the years and the new staff just don’t listen at all. I spoke Japanese. She doesn’t even know the word re-soba or cold soba which is used all over Japan and then listened to her complain she doesn’t speak English etc. I understood everything they talked about me in Japanese. It’s rude and frankly I don’t want to come back here now. And the noodles were it cooked enough....

I came here strictly for cold soba for the hot summer day. I ordered omori. It is easily the latest serving since of food i’ve ever had in Japan and it was ¥750. The price is incredible. I ate the entire thing and had to go walk it off. The soba texture great and the dipping sauce was rich in flavour. The soba is a buckwheat/flour mix, I didn’t know the ratio. You can also order tempura, tonkatsu, oyokodon as well. I will definitely bring others here and come in the future to try...
