Delicious and quick ramen! This was near my apartment and very convenient. Delicious and satisfying bowl of ramen and open late too. It wasn't crowded and we were seated immediately--the dinner rush already passed and only a few tables were occupied. It's a relatively small shop with both counter seating and a few tables. We ordered the tsukemen ramen, tantan ramen and gyoza. The tantan ramen was not spicy at all, the ramen was cooked perfectly. My tsukemen was perfect for the hot summer evening. Mine was broth free; the broth was served on the side. The skin on the gyoza was thin and fried nicely--bottom was crisp. A subsequent visit was opted for their lunch set menu and we ordered tonkotsu with fried rice and another with braised pork belly and gyoza. The fried rice was amazing--great flavor; the pork belly was soft and tender, not chewy.
Great neighborhood place for a decent, simple bowl of ramen, nothing fancy or high-end; just a good satisfying bowl of ramen. It was an inexpensive meal by...
Read moreI am no ramen expert and have a very American palette. That said I really like this place! The focus seems to be less traditional and more like comfort food instead high quality cuisine. They have a variety of toppings at the table and meals include barley tea instead of water which tastes faintly like coffee. The braised pork is a MUST, it melts in your mouth and tastes divine.
The down side is that people are allowed to smoke in the restaurant as many other reviewers have mentioned. I would recommend coming back another time if they're busy to avoid...
Read moreVery delicious miso butter corn ramen. It was my first time trying this type of ramen and I loved it! I'm not a fan of butter generally, but it paired so well with the miso and corn. Not sure if the price matches the other special ramens as they had more meat but since it was delicious I will allow it.
The man running the store explained the soup in a friendly way and the service was really fast. Really happy I...
