TO THE HERBS atré Kameido — Restaurant in Tokyo

I visited To The Herbs on December 22nd, a little bit after 8 PM. The location is exceptionally convenient, being on the sixth floor of the atré Kameido shopping complex directly accessible from Kameido station. The restaurant was not too busy when we visited and had a very peaceful atmosphere. I was immediately impressed with the clerk’s warm and inviting attitude as she showed us to our table. I ordered the margarita pizza and my girlfriend ordered the seafood pasta. The food arrived promptly. As a noted professional of pizza, I have tried pizzas all over the world, spanning a broad spectrum of styles and variations. The pizza I received at To The Herbs Kameido is competitive with the very best I have ever had; the sauce and cheese were eminently flavorful and the texture of the dough brought sublime satisfaction with every bite. I also sampled my girlfriend’s seafood pasta and it was supremely delectable, with an impactful and richly complex palette of flavors. For desert, we shared the tiramisu pancake. The pancakes had an impressive airiness to them, and the toppings were refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. I left the restaurant convinced that To The Herbs is not only one of the finest Italian institutions in Japan, but could perhaps rival the very best culinary offerings of Italy itself.
