^+^ Overrated and overpriced. Husband and I had a reservation at a table and they gave us a seat at the bar. We reserved a seat at a table not at the bar. The service was awful. Table fee is 500¥ per person and a mandatory drink fee on a menu that we couldn’t drink from because we don’t drink alcohol nor soda. No tea or coffee available. The salad was very small for the price and the pizza was freezing cold. Eww…We had to add our own seasoning because the pizza just tasted like chef boyadee canned pizza sauce. The music at this restaurant is not romantic. It’s a radio station, that plays annoying commercials every 5 minutes. I didn’t check the bathroom to see if they had a peace boat. Definitely overrated and disgusting. 6000¥ just for 1 pathetic pizza, a salad with no dressing and bugs. Pizza was so rubbery. I could have made better pizza at my house on a grill. Only thing that is nice at this restaurant is that they have cloth napkins. Which is rare in Japan. But don’t waste your time nor money here. It’s overrated and overpriced wannabe pizza that will make you...
Read moreExcellent food and stellar service from the attentive staff! One of my best dine-in experiences, and I already want to head back there.
We weren't super hungry so we avoided ordering 2 pizzas, but the staff kindly let us know that we can order a half-and-half, and we took up the offer. The staff and pizza chef were always hard at work, kneading the dough and preparing the pizza in the in-house kiln. Our pizza was super flavourful, and a dash their in-house chilli oil enhanced the flavour and gave it a great kick of spiciness.
My friend and I shared a creme brulee cuz the description looked so good, and we were not disappointed. It had a generous portion of vanilla beans, and it wasn't overly sweet which allows you to appreciate the flavours and textures more. I believe they used an Italian brand of coffee too, and it fragrantly complemented...
Read moreThe wood burning pizza was delicious and affordable. That's a difficult combination to find in the Tokyo area. In general the service was very good. The staff was friendly and service was fast. My only issue was being told by the staff to wait to be seated and that we needed to wait outside. Right after that, another 2-person group showed up without a reservation. They weren't asked to wait outside and were seated before us. We were seated shortly after that, but it was still rude to allow another group to jump the queue. I believe there was a miscommunication between the wait staff After that, all was well. I came back a couple of weeks later and enjoyed another...
