At the time of my visit to Tokyo, this restaurant had only been open for about a month. The interior is beautifully designed with soft music playing in the background. They have free Wi-Fi and outlets to charge your phone. I’m half Japanese and have eaten some damn good sushi and sashimi before I became vegan. I’ve also eaten some creative vegan sushi and specialty rolls. This is the best sushi I have ever eaten. I’m not even fond of eggplant but the eggplant sushi was absolutely delicious. My favorites were the tempura and avocado, but all of the pieces were remarkably good. The cold miso soup was excellent, as well as the vanilla ice cream. The menu includes backstory about how the restaurant came to fruition. Based on their description, I've concluded that the vegetable sushi chef described in their menu booklet, Ko Tanimizu, is the Michael Jordan of plant-based sushi. They should erect a statue of this guy and induct him into the vegan hall of fame. And of course the owners of the restaurant have done an amazing job as well. They have mastered their craft in making great food. The woman serving at the front was very friendly and provided great service. I highly recommend this restaurant to vegans and non-vegans alike. I wanted to return during my vacation, but my schedule precluded me from doing so. I will 100% be back to this place when I visit Tokyo again. My hope is that they build a strong customer base and are successful in their mission to spread their vegan food and philosophy within Japan and beyond. Edited to fix the photos.

Friendly staff welcomed me at the door, drew my attention to the coat hanger if I cared to use it, before directing me to my seat at the counter. Menu in both Japanese and English is available, and staff speak English too. Scan a QR code with your phone to order and pay which isn't very convenient, as inputting credit card details is required - and can be a bit hit and miss - I noticed customers on either side of me had trouble getting it to work. However, they can provide a credit card "touch" device, if it doesn't work out with your phone. The sushi set looked pleasing, but for me, the flavors need some work as I did find it a little bland, which surprised me as I predominantly follow a salt-free or low salt way of eating. The warmed matcha donut with ice-cream was really nice though. The lunch sushi set, hoji tea, miso soup, pickled ginger, and donut with ice-cream came to 5000yen, which I do find to be quite pricey considering the small portion size, no refills of tea, soup or pickles, and no water. The friendly staff saw me to the door, and handed me a business card with details of their vegan recommendations. It was a nice experience, but contrary to most other reviewers, the food didn't live up to what I hoped it would be.

WOW! This was more than great food. It was an experience! We got the special set so we could try all the different kinds of sushi! We even had to get some refills after because they were so good. Our favorite was the Tempura! Followed by the scrambled eggs and Tuna Mayo & Vegan Caviar. These were all so good! We also got Matcha. I believe the Matcha was grown on Mount Fuji which was cool. I got the regular and my wife got the oat milk. If you want it sweeter, get the one with oat milk. We got the Dorayaki for dessert! It was very good. They recommend it with ice cream at the restaurant, but we got it without since I think it’s more traditional. The ice cream would definitely be good too. I spent some time talking with one of the owners and she was the one serving us too. They were so nice!! It seems like a small local business trying to really get started up. I know they are only open for lunch but please try and make it. I think they want to expand to dinner too! They accept reservations! They are an absolute gem. You 100% need to go support them if you are Vegan and in Tokyo. What a great place for us. Let’s keep this place going and show them how much we love it! ✌🏻 Updated from previous review on 2025-09-04
