We ate here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The food is ok, good enough to come here again when the close by conveyor sushi dinner we initially planned turned out to be horrible 😅 For foreigners that haven't been in a similar place before, here are some explanations so that you don't feel too out of your depth. Make sure to use the vertical metal bar on the door as a handle before you push yourself into the door (I saw someone doing this wrong more than once). Ordering takes place at the table by using a tablet that has English menu. You can lift the tablet from the support and pass it around to everyone at the table for them to use comfortably, no need to lean over the table. When you enter the restaurant, don't try to order from the machines at the entrance. Those are the self checkout machines where you scan your bill's bar code for payment at the end of the meal. The waitress will bring you the order and she will slip the bill in the plastic ring that's at the end of the table. Don't move the plastic ring somewhere where she can't easily see it or access it. Payment can be done by card. There are unlimited free: cold water, pickles, dashi and rice refills you can serve yourself from, in the same area at the back of the room. Be mindful of not bumping into other customers that are queuing for refills or the waitresses that might need to pass by you with the trays. The glasses for the water are in the crates underneath the water dispenser. If the first crate you pull out is empty, there are more crates underneath, so don't give up 😅 To get the water, place the glass under the tap and push it back with a bit of force against the metal trigger. To get a rice refill, place your empty rice bowl in the middle of the rice dispenser and choose a size from the buttons on top. The rightmost button is the largest size portion (have not tried it), the middle right is a very decent size that's similar to the initial rice portion the waitress brings. I tried the middle left button in another location and it was less than half a bowl. Never tried the smallest size. For the pickles, they are on the left most side of the counter. There are small dishes stacked behind or on top of the container, I can't remember precisely. Use clean tongs that are hanged next to the container. Do not pick up tongs from the water container to get your pickles as those are used tongs! 😅 I think it might also be ok to put the pickles straight on top of your refilled bowl of rice as it's not unhygienic. Drop the used tongs into the water container in front of the pickle container. Do not put the used tongs back on the hanger. For the dashi... I have no idea as I didn't use it and I'm not so sure what it's used for in this setting😅 The staff is very kind and they will greet you loudly when you come in and say goodbye to you loudly...
