Hotel is NEW, so facilities are all in good condition except when I checked in the 2nd time, given a room on the 13th floor corner, the room has a very strong toilet smell, has to wash the whole bathroom floor to get rid of the smell. A lot of tour group stayed at this hotel, so breakfast during 7 - 9am was super crowded and queue formed. After 9am is slightly better but need to depend on the tour group check out time as well. Breakfast menu is the same throughout but lot of choices to choose from. Hotel is located near the omorikaigan train station, cross the overhead bridge using the lift. It is around 25 mins away from haneda Airport. If its is omori Station, is around 15 mins walk to hotel. If travelling to the major sightseeing places, this hotel may not be a good choice as most of the sightseeing places need to travel to shinagawa Station and change, so travelling time can easily stretch up to more than a hour depending where you are going.
Room size is standard Japanese size, not big, can't really open a big luggage in a standard queen size bed room. A lot of foreign staffs working at the front desk, so no need to worry about communication. But if you require English speaking staff, best to look for their Japanese staff, as the other foreign staffs seem to specialise in their own language only as I have encountered communication difficulties with their foreign staffs. There is a nearby shopping mall less than 10 mins with Aeon supermarket and a family mart just beside hotel. If not, along the walk to omori station, there are many eateries, another shopping mall at omori Station and many eateries behind...

I loved how there is a Family Mart, a 7Eleven and a coin laundry just a few steps away, plus supermarkets (Ito Yokado and Seiyu) just a few minutes away on the way to the Omori JR station. | Room|The hotel faces an extremely busy transportation area featuring a large road, a highway entrance that leads to hospitals, and the Keikyu train line, so it's non-stop noisy - keep that in mind when requesting your room preference. The windows are good at protecting you from the train noise, but somehow fail to stop car/ambulance traffic noise.|The room I had (triple) was simple and modern, and had enough space for large suitcases and bags. Minifridge (no freezer) and no microwave. Beds were comfortable.|* The downside|Cleanliness was an issue. All surfaces were dusty, including those in the bathroom (which makes humid surfaces, especially those around the toilet, pretty nasty-looking). The intake vent, which was large, was also extremely dusty and it was obvious that it hadn't been vacuumed for at least a year. |* Staff|Very nice, welcoming and understanding. Not sure how they will deal with the cleanliness issue.||Next time I am in town, I will likely not stay here. That said, I loved the area and the very small shopping crowds compared to...
Read moreI was quite disappointed by this hotel. The gentleman at the reception was not very courteous, did not take the time to explain anything, even the room number was not mentioned, he just handed me the card. I asked about holding luggage or using lockers and he just mentioned they don’t do it overnight, no helpful tidbits on where I may be able to find a locker close-by. The room was quite dirty. The tabletop mirror had finger smudges all over. A bath towel I picked up to use had a peculiar brown stain on it. The duvet cover accidentally opened and there was so much hair stuck to the duvet under the cover. I just felt like I’m staying after a dirty guest without the room being properly cleaned. The breakfast was another unfortunate experience. The coffee machine didn’t work and when it did, it tasted quite bad. The layout was made in a way that made picking food very chaotic. All the tongs were quite dirty and smudged. I saw hair on two of the fruit and vegetable serving bowls. And the tables never got cleaned between guests so any table I looked at was quite dirty and had food crumbs and smudges. The only upside was the location across the street from...
