We were looking for dinner on our way home and found our match at yoshinari. While it was a quiet weeknight, the restaurant was fully staffed and the service was attentive and the food excellent. Most of the menu was available in English with photos on an ipad and for the specials we used Google translate. The toro cut roll was excellent. We enjoyed the eggplant, salmon sushi, white fish salad and many other dishes. Credit cards were accepted and the prices were reasonable.

レビューで言われている程大したことはない。

寿司を食べたくて宮益坂界隈で探したところ、この店がヒットした。 幸い並ばずに入れた。

頼んだものは、刺身3切れ×2種とイシガレイの唐揚げおろしポン酢。

鯵は鮮度が落ち、青魚独特の臭みが出ていた。 死んで2日目という具合だろうか。 やはりこの時期は旬だからこそ、脂の乗ったピチピチの鯵を食べたかった。 ヒラメは熟成されている割に、味のノリがいまいち。やはり時期もあるのでしょうが、美味しい魚を求めて頂けに残念。

刺身の断面は滑らかで、よく研いだ包丁で引いたものと思われる 点は良かった。

イシガレイの唐揚げは火の通しすぎ、かつ味が乗っていない。

この値段を取るのであれば接客の質も注目したいが、やる気のない近所のババアという印象。頂けないのは、開店早々の時間にも関わらず、客がいる目の前で「あぁ〜　疲れた」と言い放ち、また厨房に通す声がただ怒鳴るような形で品がない。

田舎の食堂レベルと言えるだろう。

せめてもの救いはご飯だ。 ご飯はよく炊けているが、やはり米の質は普通かなという印象。

総じて言えることは、このレベルの定食だと850円が妥当な金額だろう。 なぜこの店がここまで混むのだろうか？ この界隈は若者が多く、あまり美味しいものを食べていないのだろうか。というのが素直な感想。

魚の目利き、時期の見極め、そして何より調理と料理の違いがわかった職人がいれば良いのだが、この店はどれも中途半端に感じる。

刺身の引き方や米の炊き方などの技術は優れていることから、もしかしたらこの店のオーナーがその程度の人物なのかもしれない。

二度と行くことはないだろうが、行く方は焼き魚を頼むと...
